“ I suppose mytinybabyhands started when I played string bass in orchestra. My hands are very small, and it was difficult for me to wrap them around the finger board. I would joke that parts were harder because of ‘my tiny baby hands.’ That phrase stuck in my psych. There’s something uncanny about tiny plastic babies and hands that I always circle back to as a point of inspiration. They can appear sinister, artistic, or intellectualized, but the phrase itself is incredibly stupid. I feel like it represents all aspects of who I am as a creative person.
